Der Autor Raphaël Amahl Khouri wird im Rahmen des Festivals einen Schreibworkshop geben. Gemeinsam entdecken die Teilnehmer*innen was es heißt den Körper zu beSchreiben, zu entdecken was bereits existierte und schon immer da war. Neu zu entdecken. In kleiner Gruppe wird der Workshop die Möglichkeiten geben sich intensiv mit dem eigenen Schreiben und Ausdruck zu befassen.
Raphaël Amahl Khouri ist ein queerer transgender Arabisch-Deutscher Dokumentartheater-Dramatiker und Theatermacher, der in Berlin und Kairo lebt. Khouri ist Autor mehrerer Stücke u. a. She He Me (Kosmos Theater, Wien 2019). Mit seinem Centerpiece im Stück Darkroom Revisted (von Jchj V. Dussel) wurde er zum Heidelberger Stückemarkt 2022 eingeladen.

The author Raphaël Amahl Khouri will host a writing workshop as part of the festival. Together the participants will discover what it means to discover the writings on the body. Uncover what has always been there. Discover the body anew. In a small group, the workshop will provide the opportunity to intensively explore self-expression and creative writing.
Raphaël Amahl Khouri is a Jordanian documentary playwright and theatremaker living between Berlin and Cairo. Khouri is the author of several plays, including the first-ever transgender Arab play, She He Me (staged at Kosmos Theatre, Vienna 2019), also recently performed online as part of NYC’s Criminal Queerness Festival. ICH BRAUCHE MEINE RUHE (I Need My Rest) (Politik im Freien Theater Festival, Munich 2018) and No Matter Where I Go (Beirut 2014). Khouri is invited with his Centrepiece Text for the digital theatrefilm Darkroom Revisited (by Jchj V. Dussel), to the Heidelberg Stückemarkt 2022.
